5th PRACE Executive Industrial Seminar

PRACE Industrial Seminars

Already a tradition in the European HPC landscape, they serve as a forum to develop PRACE’s working relations with Industry. The 2012 event took place in Bologna in April 2012 and attracted a total of 96 attendees, including 67 non-PRACE attendees, and 30 speakers who provided 20 talks and 4 workshops. 30 of the companies attending were SMEs and 21 of them attended such an event for the first time. In total, the four industrial seminars to date have attracted as many as 120 different companies of various business and industrial profiles. This event will take place in one of the most vibrant European industrial regions: Stuttgart. The city and its surroundings are home to a number of world-class companies e.g. in the automotive and mechanical engineering field.
