Faster than a speeding… supercomputer!

Sure, supercomputers are bigger, better, faster, stronger…but what do they actually do?  This is a question I receive a lot – even though the ‘computer’ part is easy to understand, it’s the ‘super’ part many are curious about.

Scientists and engineers are not simply people in white lab coats who perform experiments and observe results. They also work with complex mathematical models.
