After 16 years in the middleware industry, IEEE Internet Computing columnist Steve Vinoski transitioned his focus to what he calls the functional web.
In his column entitled, "The Functional Web," Vinoski explores the use of functional programming languages and techniques to the world of web development. Since the column's debut in the March/April 2009 issue of IEEE Internet Computing, Vinoski has covered Representational State Transfer (REST) architecture, as well as a variety of programming languages such as Scala, Lift, Erlang, Clojure, Haskell, and Snap.
The column and his blog are both well worth reading; you can read both by clicking here.

And by better what I mean is the audio tracks I found were much
more enlightening than the text at the link which
seemed to me to be about debugging code written in erlang
so if you are trying to figure out web functional programming
I would take in the two audio podcasts first and then go
further into other sources for enlightenment on such topics.
I meant to say that the audio track at the above url is better.
