Registration is now open for the Grid Camp 2007, WLCG Tier-2 and EU-IndiaGrid Workshop, to be held at Academia Sinica in Taipei, Taiwan from 28 October to 1 November 2007.
The program aims to enhance the ability of Asian countries to establish a stable grid environment and consists of a three-day introductory tutorial, a two-day Worldwide Large Hadron Collider Computing Grid (WLCG) Tier-2 workshop and one-day EU-IndiaGrid Workshop.
The three-day tutorial is designed to help audiences quickly learn the important grid concepts and gain practical grid deployment skills and starts with an introduction to EGEE infrastructure, followed by detailed presentations on grid middleware, security, work load management and data management.
Presenters will also provide practical information on operating and maintaining a grid resource centre, such as administration, troubleshooting and hands-on testing.
The two-day WLCG workshop will provide experiment specific training sessions for Tier-2 centers.
