An ecosystem for digital social innovation

Nesta is an innovation charity with a mission to help people and organizations bring great ideas to life. It is dedicated to supporting ideas that can help improve people's lives, with activities ranging from early-stage investment to in-depth research and practical programs.

Nesta recently produced a report on digital social innovation for the European Commission Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content, and Technology (DG CONNECT). The report identifies more than 1,000 rising examples of digital social innovation organizations across Europe and points to a growing movement of innovators who are developing inspiring digital solutions for a variety of social issues, in areas such as health, democracy, consumption, money, education, and more.
