“Computational science is becoming more and more important to the students who know they want to continue with research,” says Peter Bui, assistant professor of computer science at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, US. “Many of them are taking computer science courses because they know they will need some level of programming knowledge and data management skills.”
Bui is passionate about teaching high-throughput computing and is inspiring a new generation of students, from a range of academic disciplines.
