Could HPC, cloud, and big-data analytics enable better understanding of financial markets?

Yet, academics from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland argue that a lack of globally-agreed standards for modeling financial contracts means that accurate comparison of risk exposures between banks is still almost impossible today.
