'The Information Universe' Conference

Event Dates: October 7, 2015 - 12:00am - October 9, 2015 - 12:00am

The conference will bring together internationally renowned experts and scientists across multiple disciplines to discuss the role of information in our universe. Participants will embark on an intellectual journey in search of answers to questions like "Is the universe one giant information processing machine?", "Does quantum information provide a new basis for describing our physical reality?", "Can information open new roads to understanding dark matter and dark energy?", and "How can we use information to theory to better understand complex life systems and even consciousness?".

Unique Venue

The conference will be hosted by the 3D fulldome theater Infoversum in Groningen. You will have a unique opportunity to present data, simulations or scientific animations in our immersive dome environment. Upon request, presenters will be put in contact with our dedicated productions team.
