iSGTW Announcement - EEGE User Forum Call for Abstracts

Announcement: EEGE User Forum Call for Abstracts

Abstract submission is now open for the second EGEE User Forum. The User Forum will be held May 9-11, 2007, in Manchester, UK, in conjunction with the 20th Open Grid Forum. Proposals for oral and poster presentations and practical demonstrations will be accepted until January 31, 2007 through the User Forum Web site.

EGEE User Forums are an opportunity for innovative applications to establish contacts with EGEE and with other user communities, learn about the latest advances within EGEE, plan for future use of the infrastructure, and discuss the future evolution of grid technology. The forums also provide an opportunity for dialogue with commercial representatives interested in EGEE grid technology.

Contributions are invited that focus on usersÂ’ experience with or plans to use the EGEE infrastructure. Topics include data access, interactive usage, workload and workflows. Abstracts are also welcome that discuss the experiences of the resource provider community, such as computing centers that have joined the EGEE infrastructure. A session on grid monitoring may also be held at this User Forum.
