For those who couldn't make it to the Gold Coast of Australia for this week's eResearch Australasia conference, there's always live streaming. The Australian Research Collaboration Service, ARCS, is streaming live keynote speeches and select sessions (see schedule link below) held in the event's “Prince” room. Simply join the “eResearch Australasia 2010 Conference Presentations” meeting in the ARCS/AARNet EVO Community to attend virtually. ARCS also will broadcast these presentations to the international research community through the Universe EVO Community to help raise awareness of eResearch activity in Australia. In addition to live streaming, ARCS will record key sessions and house them on the Data Fabric national file system. These recordings will be accessible after the conference ends via a QuickShare link. QuickShare enables those not registered for the Data Fabric to access files via a custom link. For a list of Prince room presentation topics and times, go to: https://df.arcs.org.au/quickshare/4485fb34acae7e3b/eResearch%20Australasia%20Conference%20EVO%20Schedule.odt If you don’t have an EVO account you can get one with a simple three-step process:
You don’t need a headset to view the proceedings. We look forward to your presence online at eResearch Australasia 2010. If you have any questions, please contact ARCS customer service at or 1800 862 727. |
