In case you lost your invitation or forgot, it is not too late to register online for the 8th e-Infrastructure Concertation Meeting, to be held 4-5 November at CERN in Geneva. Organized by the Commission Services with the support of the e-ScienceTalk project, this event will bring together key players in the e-infrastructures community in the new distributed computing infrastructures era, working towards a long-term sustainable e-infrastructure for scientific research in Europe. The ultimate aim is to develop a world-class resource as part of a strategy to achieve European leadership in e-science. Sessions will be held on the first floor of the Globe. The agenda includes tours, lectures, project presentations, networking cocktails, a chance to be interviewed by the GridCast team — and a virtual goodie bag. So, check the “In” box of your email for an invitation, and sign up soon! Attendance is by invite only but for everyone who cannot come, GridCast will be broadcasting the event live on the web. |
