HunGrid is the Hungarian grid infrastructure, open to anyone from the research community who wants to use its computing resources. They held an event last Thursday at the Budapest University of Technology for researchers, educators and students. The event covering some of the institutions that make up HunGrid, the applications of the grid - from gravitational wave detection to genetic research - and an overview on how to get started with the grid.
