Andrew has a BSc degree in Biology from the University of York and an MSc in Science Communication from Imperial College London. He has also carried out research at the University of Bayreuth. Andrew has previoulsy worked as a freelance journalist and as online producer for New Scientist. He won the Science Challenge writing prize in 2011 and can be found on Twitter under A_Purcell.

Amber has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology from the School of Engineering and Technology at Purdue University, US. A former database administrator and project manager, she is now pursuing her love of writing as the US Desk Editor of iSGTW, hosted by the IT Communications Office at Indiana University, US. Amber is curious about all manners of scientific and technical research, and covers topics such as grid computing, cloud computing, and supercomputing. She also ran her first marathon in 2012, and enjoys photography and traveling the world.

Zara's background is in Biological Sciences. She also has Masters in Science Communication, and over the last 12 years she has developed scientific content for diverse audiences from primary school children to brain surgeons. Zara is currently based at Queen Mary, University London in the Physics department, and is a member of e-ScienceTalk (a European communications project that reports on science and policy issues relating to cloud technologies, grids and volunteer computing). She also works part-time as a science writer and has contributed to the New Scientist and The Lancet.
