ICWM2009 in conjunction with the 4th International Conference on Grid and Pervasive Computing (GPC 2009) Date: 4-8 May 2009
The objective of the conference is to demonstrate and explore current advances in all aspects of workflow management from various perspectives. The ICWM was previously held mainly as the International Workshop on Workflow Management and Applications in Grid Environments. The ICWM this year evolves to cover various aspects in workflow management. The conference aims to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners and developers from different background areas such as business domain, e-science domain, computing infrastructure domain as well as workflow and process research domain to exchange the latest experience and research ideas. The conference hopes to highlight the latest joint-venture and synergic research and development on workflow management. Topics The workshop solicits novel papers on a broad range of topics in business workflow, scientific workflow and computing infrastructure oriented workflow. More detailed topic listings appear on the Web site. Submission Requirements Please email your manuscripts in PDF to jinjun.chen@gmail.com with the email subject as “ICWM2009 paper submission”. Limit the length to 8 pages in IEEE format. All papers will be peer reviewed by two or three pc members. Acceptance of a paper to the workshop requires at least one author to attend the conference to present the paper. Publication of Papers All accepted papers will appear in the proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society. Selected papers will be invited to special issues in Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, and Journal of Computer and System Sciences. Other selected papers will be invited to appear in a book to be published by Nova Science Publishers in its series on Process and Workflow Management and Applications. Program Committee Co-Chairs
