Announcement: TeraGrid '07 Call for Papers

The next annual TeraGrid conference, TeraGrid '07: Broadening Participation in TeraGrid, invites all interested individuals and organizations to participate. TeraGrid Â’07 will be held June 4-7, 2007 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Attendees will include scientists and engineers, faculty, postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students, high school teachers, representatives from federal agencies, grid computing industry representatives, and staff from TeraGrid resource providers and partners.

Submissions are now being accepted for papers, demonstrations, tutorials, posters and birds-of-a-feather sessions that address the following topics: scientific impacts from the use of TeraGrid; technology development, capabilities, and services; and education, outreach, and training.

Full papers are due January 12, 2007, for peer review. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, and a few of the best papers will be chosen for further review and considered for inclusion in a special TeraGrid section of the Communications of the ACM (CACM).

In addition, TeraGrid '07 will include three competitions for students. The Impact of Cyberinfrastructure on Your World is aimed at high school and undergraduate students; TeraGrid Student Research Competition for undergraduate and graduates; and TeraGrid: Advancing Scientific Discovery competition for high school, undergraduate and graduate students.
