SiPE Workshops, 27 January, Ohio University

Supercomputing in Plain English (SiPE) workshops will begin, on Tuesday,  27 January 2009, at the Stephenson Research & Technology Center boardroom at the Ohio University Supercomputing Center for Education & Research.

Every Tuesday from 2:30-3:30pm starting Tue 28 January until May 5, this SiPE is a lecture series on High Performance Computing will be run, via multiple conferencing technologies, so everyone will be able to participate. (The last series of sessions had over 200 participants, from 29 institutions in 22 states, as well as Puerto Rico and Mexico.)

● Instruction Level Parallelism
● Stupid Compiler Tricks
● Shared Memory Multithreading
● Distributed Parallelism
● Multicore Madness
● High Throughput Computing
