ETICS 2 offers help to software professionals

A software professional has two words to describe the task of building, configuring and integrating new software.

He calls it a “nightmare activity.”

But with E-infrastructure for Testing, Integration and Configuration of Software Phase 2, or ETICS 2, software professionals can use an “out of the box” system that helps them configure, build and test their software.

The result of three years of project activities, the system provides tools and resources to configure, manage and analyze build and test runs, simplifying complex and often repetitive activities. The ETICS 2 system exploits grid software and distributed computing infrastructures, and automates the software development process as much as possible. It supports software professionals in obtaining higher quality software, a shorter time-to-market, a lower risk on schedule and reduced project costs.
