Visitors to ICT2008 are reminded that BELIEF (Bringing Europe’s eLectronic Infrastructures to Expanding Frontiers) will be hosting an exhibition stand that contains 12 EU projects in one place, at Booth number D05.

This stand will highlight the value of e-Infrastructure technologies that link researchers in the EU with those in Africa, Asia and Latin America, with dramatic benefits for science and society.

An interactive exhibition will offer to researchers, representatives from business and academia and to the general public insight into the benefits of the e-Infrastructures in a global context, showcasing the main achievements worldwide, the main applications and the opportunities of being actively involved in the e-Infrastructure community. The booth will ensure that the audience both understands the e-Infrastructures concept easily and is able to personally identify the advantages that these technologies bring.

Contents include a 10-minute film with 3-D animations; laptops for public use, demonstrations and information materials.

For any further information, contact the BELIEF Project stand coordinator
